Why Mike has their vote
Displays why others are voting for Mike Gravel. These are randomly selected.
Because he's the only individual progressive enough to lead this country to a brighter future.
Mike Gravel is the only one who speaks the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. He thinks outside the box. He also ended the draft single-handedly. If it wasnt for him, id be in that shit-hole war our wonderful president has gotten us into.
Mike Gravel is the best candidate in this election for America, plain and simple.
FUCK NAFTA
i am so in love with his platform...would really love to see him win! something that perturbs me to no end is the fact that we are all born into a social contract that we had no part in creating, some of which I vehemently oppose. i think that the national initiative has so much potential. there comes a point where the government really needs to step back and quit invading our personal rights and freedom of choice. if i am not harming anyone or stealing from anyone or invading the personal freedoms of anyone, then how i choose to live my life in private should be none of your business! and, of course, how you live yours is none of mine.
also, it seems that the unfettered capitalism that is rampant in the united states breeds a sort corporate oligarchy (which is not to say that i am against capitalism, but there needs to be limits...it's scary how much of our lives are controlled by the media and commercial culture, and how accepting americans are of the illusion of freedom and no one even questions it! we are slaves to the dollar. we are a nation of addicts, hooked on everything that money can buy). but while the government is taking our personal freedoms, corporations are free to play...on the other hand, there are many things which should be regulated by the government are not...the most important, i think, being healthcare and environmental protection laws!
i am totally with him on every issue. we need an honest, ethical person in office...i think he's exactly what this country needs.
The only one with an ounce of perspective on the world.
He is the wisest and most moral candidate in the bunch. He stands for every American and is a true proponent of the constitution and Democracy.
The only candidate who actually says what he believes.
Mike Gravel is the only one that will change anything in our country. He has his ideas, he knows how to accomplish them and he says what the hell he's thinking.
He is the truth.
Empowering the American people as lawmakers...i like the sound of that. It just proves that we are the ones who need to clean up Washington. The proof is in his record, he has helped America become a better place before and he can do it once more as the next president. Desprate times call for absolute change. GRAVEL 08!
I agree with all his resolutions for the current problems that need to be addressed. I believe that Gravel has what it takes to spread more peace and prevent war. He is also the most honest candidate of them all!
LET GRAVEL BE THE FOUNDATION OF A NEW REVOLUTION!
His National Initiative is genius.
He's the only one that tells the truth.
He is the man.
Mike Gravel is right on everything but the draft. Read his positions, ladies and gentlemen. He's not just about getting out of Iraq, and he's not Mr. Peace. There is some real insight in his views, especially on economics. He supports a fair tax (something fiscal conservatives favor) in order to move from a consumer-based economy to a spending-based economy (though he likely would never admit to that). He seems like a nutty old man, but the guy is serious, and he's got nothing to lose, so he's telling the truth.
As for Iraq, nearly everyone is calling for a withdrawal of troops, but none of them has the courage to say that the soldiers are dying in vain. If you think that the soldiers shouldn't be there, and you think that they should come home immediately, then you logically think that there is no point to letting more soldiers die. That means that any soldier who DOES die for this ridiculous cause is dying in vain. Senator Gravel is right. We need to stop pussy-footing around and have a real debate between men who can actually make a difference in this country: Sen. Gravel and Rep. Paul. If this election were less about celebrity, who has the least number of flubs, and who makes more money, and more about issues and substance, Sen. Gravel and Rep. Paul would easily be the nominees of their respective parties. And frankly, the two of them could make a pretty interesting tag-team if they launched an independent bid.
the national initiative
i believe that he is the only person that can save the united states.
Mike Gravel is a leader firm on his beliefs, but his beliefs seem to evolve according to what is actually going on. Mike Gravel is different. He is a breath of fresh air, and a gift to this 2008 Presidential process.
Hes the only candidate I can fully support. Honesty, integrity, courage and honor are so rare in politics today, itd be a shame if we let this man lose. He cant win this on his own, and I'm ready to follow him to hell and back to get him the White House.
Visionary history on ending the Vietnam War. Stands up for what he believes, regardless of what other politicians want. History of getting international support to prevent nuclear weapons testing in Alaska. Resourceful in getting things done.
Honesty, Integrity, Pentagon Papers, Noncorrupt, Moral, Has no other agenda
Er... Maybe because he doesn't want to nuke the entire world, like, er... Every other candidate? And he actually wants to give us rights, as citizens, and empower us to actually change things? Just a thought...
Mike's got a proven success record and knows the inner workings of everything political. He's the only candidate with the moral license to drive our nation in the right direction and steer us away from the ineptitudes of modern day politics.
A vote for Mike Gravel is a vote for the people. Stop government interference. Marijuana use is a medical problem, not a political one, LEGALIZE IT!
