Former Governor Jim Gilmore is willing to drill, to get lower gas prices.
He stopped by Lynchburg Monday in his campaign for Senate.
Gilmore says to bring down pump prices we need to increase oil production here in the U.S. and become far less dependent on foreign oil.
Jim Gilmore, Senate Candidate - "But we can do these things that's okay. But there is no substitute for decisive action right now to do domestic oil production in the United States and Anwar in offshore. Mark Warner will not do these things and I will."
Gilmore is also predicting a victory for Republican presidential candidate John McCain (web|news|bio) in November.
