Bill Richardson's mom takes offense
The flap over long-time Clintonista James Carville tagging Bill Richardson a "Judas" for rejecting Hillary Clinton and endorsing Barack Obama in the Democratic presidential sweepstakes has pretty much receded. The race moves on, and other controversies flare (as Obama, at the moment knows only too well).
But the slur Carville directed at Richardson can be expected to fester for at least one living soul -- the New Mexico governor's mother.
"She's 94," Richardson told Times reporter Mark Z. Barabak during a recent interview. "And very Catholic" (making Carville's epithet of choice all the more grievous for her).
Worse, Richardson confided, his mother thought former President Bill Clinton had made the remark. (Clinton, who made Richardson his U.N. ambassador, then Energy secretary, had some choice things to say about the governor in a red-faced tirade at the California Democratic Party convention last month, but avoided biblical references. At least in public.)
"How could your friend say that?" asked Mother Richardson, who still lives in Mexico City, where the erstwhile presidential candidate was raised.
"That's politics, mom, " Richardson said he replied.
Then he added to Barabak, "You know mothers ..."
Indeed, we've been told that even Carville had one.

best election ever! This is perfect for the cable news spinheads to stay occupied for another week or two. Somehow I can see Obama will have to apologize to an outraged cable news nation for Mrs. R's comments. O'reilly will demand that the Pope come on his show to explain moms comments, Dobbs will demand all Liberal be deported and Hannity will insist that the real Jesus is McCain. Rev. Wright will have to swear not to swear when potential candidates or children might be present. Hillary will don her Dale Evans cowgirl pantsuite and head on up to Scranton for a little squirrel huntin' til the whole mess blows over.

All you Latinos out there just remember, Hillary Clinton's Campaign thinks if a Latino is given a Job by any of the Clintons at any time during their life, they are indebted for ever and that person has to serve them for the rest of his/her life, otherwise they will be branded Judas. Bill Richardon was branded "Judas" the evil person who sold Jesus for 30 pieces of Silver. This is the ultimate insult not only to Bill Richardon who is a TRUE AMERICAN, who served this country so well, but all the Latinos out there. Latinos will remember that for the rest of their lives. The Clintons are not our friends, they stand only for the Clintons. Carville, was asked to retract the statement and he refused to do that. Bill and Hillary Clinton just watched him stick it to Bill Richradson over and over and over again and again and again. They did not stop him from repeating the insults, and the Clinton's did not denounce him and they did not appologize to Bill Richrdson and the entire latino communitiy. Carville had the blessings of the Clintons to say what he said. Carville may say that he is not associated with the Clinotn Camaign all he wants. The Clinton Camaign needs to come forward and condemn the "Judas " remark that Carville said over and over and over again, including the fact that he added that he does not regret that. If the Clinton's do not disown that kind of filty statement, obviously they are complicit, of course. Not only the latinos are angry about this but the entire country should be angry about this statement, that James Carville so unashamedly put out for the entire world to hear. I am so upset and the whole country is so upset

Shame on James Carville for branding Bill Richardon, a true American Hero as the evil Judas.
Shame on the Clinton campaing,and both Bill and Hillary Clinton for not coming forward and denouncing the statement that James Carville made and for not appologizing to Bill Richardon and the entire Latino community. They should still come forward and appolgize to Bill Richardson but also to the latino Community and the ntire American people.

Mother Richardson needs to spank her son Bill's behind for playing the role of Judas in the 2008 Democratic campaign for the Presidency. Even us "bitter" working folk have taken time from our "clinging" to guns and religion to recognize a back-stabber when we see one. Yes, indeed, we saw it fully on display and it makes us even more "bitter," so much so that if Mr. Obama becomes the nominee, heaven forbid, we will, out of bitterness, cast our vote in November to send the Illinois Senator back into the arms of Tony Rezko and not via the White House. Governor Richardson's "endorsement" of Mr. Obama has heightened our state of bitterness and the need to "cling."

A world without Hillary, Bill and Carville....what a dream. I'It's very hard to look at those three on the tube, knowing well what they are about to spout, and, worse, what their political motives are behind the smiles, that is, when the venom isn't "on." Surely, the American electorate isn't this easily duped....dump the Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton devastating years. This might be America's last chance to survive the results these dynasties have wrought, and the chance to revive the glory our country
deserves.

Bill Richardson is not only a traitor to the State he governs who voted overwhelmingly for Hillary but to his Latino culture and he is only following his own ambitions by selling his soul to the devil and all for nothing since Hillary will win the democratic nomination.

The Clintons have completely burned their bridges. This kind of slash and burn cannibalize the party in a desperate last ditch effort to win is the final straw. Thanks to this kind of campaigning, Americans no longer trust them (AGAIN!) and you can stick a fork in Hill'. She's done and not just for this campaign. She'll never be President. NEVER!
Besides she voted for the Iraq war and that is a watershed moment of character. The Clintons are liars or did we forget...I smoked but didn't inhale...didn't touch that woman...opposed NAFTA really....dodged bullets in Bosnia bull crap!
